in 14 acres the Sid Valley Country House Hotel,
originally 17th Century, is one of those special places that
is rarely found. There is no better way to discover Devon,
inland and coast, than at the Sid Valley, which provides a
relaxed atmosphere with professional service and luxurious
surroundings, spacious and comfortably furnished lounges,
attentiveness, efficiency and hospitality and staff to aid
relaxation and provide a peaceful retreat.
Relax and enjoy a drink and good company in the bar or
one of our residential lounges, where we offer unobtrusive
service. Flowers adorn all the rooms, their scent in competition with the tang of wood smoke from the log fires.
All our food home made and prepared daily from fresh produce - with our own home
baked bread. We use seasonal and local ingredients wherever possible - some of our produce is even home grown! A wide and varied menu is always available in
our restaurant.
The well stocked wine cellar offers European and New World wines, and
perhaps afterwards a liquer to round off the evening.

Whether you choose a super king, double or twin, all are
light, airy and luxuriously furnished, with en suite
facilities, and commanding country views, some with south
facing balconies affording views over the Sid Valley and
beyond. Every bedroom offers individual design and luxurious decor. All have private bathroom, colour
flatscreen television, trouser press, tea and coffee facilities, radio alarm, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and super king or twin † beds. Most rooms have wireless internet available.
